PKNPk has completed a five-year turnaround from heavy losses (RM311.62m in 2019–2020) to five consecutive years of profit and five clean audits. A roadmap launched in March 2021 improved governance, cut underperforming units (about 26 closed), and restructured subsidiaries—Majuperak exited PN17 and Perak Corp is progressing with a regularisation plan—both showing stronger 1H26 results. PKNPk is shifting from one-off land sales to sustainable, recurring revenue and moving projects into delivery, including LuMIC, Silver Valley Technology Park, the Hydro Life Extension Programme (with TNB), and the Northern Perak Water Supply Scheme. It aims to attract private and international partners, better monetise state assets, and create jobs and long-term value for Perak.
